Well, it’s here…the last post of the 52-Week Challenge through the Bloom Forum. Or…to go with this theme…the last leg of our photographic journey. And I have mixed feelings. I’m sad it’s over because I’ll miss the weekly visits on-line with my blog circle girls who have been such an inspiration. But as it comes to an end, I’m also happy – happy that I’ve met them, learned from them and will hopefully keep in touch with them as we all continue on our individual photographic journeys. I could go on and on AND on about everything I’ve learned from the challenge and the other girls but I’ll hold off so I can focus on the photos below and not bore you in the meantime.
The afternoon of Christmas Day, my youngest started on his new beginning or new little journey. He rode his bike for the first time without training wheels. It was his decision and not because he’d received a new bike for Christmas which he didn’t. He just simply said he was ready. So my husband grabbed the tools and I grabbed my camera and phone so I could photograph, videotape and watch this little milestone all at the same time. The little guy took to it like a pro. With just a little assistance and a slight push, he was off on his own, riding into the sunset, sort of, and bringing tears to his mommy’s eyes.
Now head on over to Jessica’s site to see her new beginning! And Jessica, who only missed two weeks of the challenge, is making up those two weeks on her own. Way to go!
