We’re coming to the end of the 52-Week Challenge (sniff, sniff) AND my first full year as a member of an amazing group of photographers on The Bloom Forum. (It was through the forum that I met these talented ladies who make up our weekly blog circle.)
The forum introduced me to the Bloom Workshop, an on-line photography course led by the forum founders. I signed up for the workshop and spent about a month starting in August completing photography assignments, chatting on-line with other photographers taking the course, and absorbing all I could from our amazing teachers. I had been wanting to blog about a few of our assignments but fall photography season got busy and the Bloom photos got pushed to the side. But this week’s theme gave me the chance to blog about one of the assignments.
For this assignment, I wanted to create a “story” about girls, how they’re just as powerful, strong, intelligent, and amazing as boys. And I knew just the girls I wanted to use for the assignment…three rough and tumble little ladies who can wear a pretty bow and tackle a boy all in one breath. So here’s to three super cool young ladies…
Now head on over to Jen’s site to see her story! I know you’ll love it! (And Jen is another Bloomie blogger who has yet to miss a week in the 52-week challenge! Woo-hoo!)

(The Bloom Forum 52-Week post is a weekly challenge in which photographers from all over take a photo based on that week’s theme and post it on their blog. Each blog post includes a link to the next photographer’s site. Click through all the blogs to see the different interpretations. The blog circle officially starts on Friday of each week.)
