Ignite: A Creative Discovery [Heber Springs, Little Rock Photographer]

The “Dog Days of Summer”……..also known as the hottest, most sultry days of the season and oh how we’re experiencing that now. Yesterday’s temperature reached 110. Tomorrow, they’re calling for 107. Seriously?!!!

Without realizing we’re officially in the midst of the “dog days,” according to my little Wikipedia search which said that ancient Rome recognized July 24-August 24 as the “dog days,” I decided on the saying as inspiration for this month’s fine art. I also felt it was time to bring my constant canine companion Patrick back out for another fine art feature. So here it is…our dog’s version of the Dog Days of Summer featuring thePoodle family, The Patricks!

katie, i LOVE your imagination. every month i get so excited to see what your mind and talent will bring us. you have such an amazing and quirky and fun side to your spirit. you create beautiful, perfect portraits and then these whimsical stories. a breath of the freshest air is what you are, and i adore it.
