Guys and girls, hiring a photographer for the proposal is a unique way to capture those memories that happen so fast and are easily forgotten due to nerves and the “what did I just do?!” stress from your life-changing question. It’s also a beautiful way to preserve the moment, impress your significant other, and even show the kids one day.

So what’s it like to hire a proposal photographer? Think papparazzi, but not the illegal, obnoxious, bullying sort. I act more like a spy in the bushes. We’ll plan it out…the where, when and how…and I’ll discreetly arrive at the chosen location and “blend” into the surroundings. I might even bring my hubby to play along. With my long lens, I can capture the moment from a distance and allow you the privacy you need. The newly engaged have yet to see me there and are always surprised when I’m pointed out. And I make sure they know how special it was for you to hire me. We’ll then have a quick engagement session so you don’t have to worry about it closer to the date.

All engagement and proposal sessions take place in Asheville and the surrounding areas like Brevard, Black Mountain, Weaverville, Hendersonville, etc. Of course if you’d like to propose in the Caribbean, pay my travel costs and I’m your on-location photographer!
